| One of the worst garage of the Slough area.
Car is a 10 years old car in spotless condition all maintenance carried out on a 6 month basis,
Took my car in for an MOT and quick fit told me that I needed new brake disk because the one on my car where broken and pads, new brake oil, tyres and oil for a total of £600 GBP
The funny bit is that I have worked as a mechanic in the past and When I questioned the mechanic from quickfit about the brake disk broken, because a car with broken brake disk would not be able to go no where and why my rear tyres need to be changed since where replaced less than 6 months before the mechanic starte to shout at me...after 20 minutes of discussion they agreed to change only the brake pads and MOT inspection and no tyres for a total of £ 200.
They had my car for 3 consecutive days when I left my car the tank was half full and when I took it back was empty. When I went back to take my car there was a girl waiting for an MOT and guess what..she was told that she had broken the brake disk...mmmmm I think that I heard that before.
The other day I had a flat tyre so I took all the tools and started to replace the flat tyre and in order to loosen the bolt on the wheel I broke a spanner...since I was a mechanic before I know that the bolt where tight in that way because of quickfit...I was lucky that the tyre I found it flat on my driveway...just imagine if I was on a motorway.... |
